Topsham is a wonderful small historic estuary town with a noticeable ‘Dutch’ influence to its architecture due to its important shipping trade in the 17th and 18th century.
Topsham has excellent restaurants, pub, gift shops, walking and wildlife alongside the estuary and a Saturday morning market. There are also a small selection of Bed & Breakfasts and a hotel. A 3-storey antique centre is situated on the quay. A small passenger ferry can take passengers to and from The Turf Lock pub, 10 minutes down stream for those who have worked up an appetite (or thirst!).
Topsham also have an excellent museum situated 100 yards further down the Strand from our workshops.
